The Seascape Sunset
My aim was to catch the sea and the sunset . I then came back to the art studio and was inspired to create this art seascape
The sailing and Chichester seascape painting is A4 or 16inches by 20inches, painted in acrylic on canvas board and comes with a COA (certificate of authenticity).
As you can see, I spend a lot of time on the Sussex coast looking for painting inspiration. This is taken from areas such as Shoreham and all along the Sussex coast, right up to Hastings. My favourite medium is acrylic.
My artistic style when it comes to creating sea and coastal landscape paintings involves bringing the painting to life using bold colours and striking subject matter, especially when capturing the sky and sea.
Creating seascape and coastal art includes trying to capture brief moments in time, with dawn and dusk my preferred times and expressing the beauty and power of nature at its finest.
